Wildtree Wednesday–Korean BBQ Bowl
Every time we move to a new town, I’m always looking for a recommended Korean place. They never live up to my memories of the authentic foods I had when I visited the country. But this easy marinade is the closest I’ve found to those traditional and savory flavors.

  1. Marinade pork tenderloin in Korean BBQ Sauce for 30 minutes – 1 hour, refrigerated. Cook rice per package instructions and set aside.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Grill pork until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Remove from grill and tent with foil; allow to rest while you grill the vegetables.

  4. Slice pork thinly, and serve with vegetables over rice. Top with green onions. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Where did my week go? Before I knew it, it was time for another Wildtree Wednesday!  Lucky you.  :o)  After last week’s simple and oh-so-tasty Hearty Wildtree Spaghetti Sauce, I got so caught up with the extra time I saved that I tried to do TOO much!  Whoops.  At least my pantry is stocked and I can rely on fantastic recipes like this one.

I love that when I’m super busy, I can still tap into my comfort foods.  Reaching for meals that have a touch of nostalgia like this Korean BBQ Bowl really put a smile on my face.

What kind of flavors do you crave when things are busy? Is there a go-to sauce or marinade that you always have in your pantry?
